Undertaking evening collections and early morning deliveries, our volunteers are the driving force behind our mission to reduce food waste and food poverty locally.
We operate a fleet of vans—staffed entirely by volunteers—that collect surplus food from local businesses and deliver it to charities, drop-in centres, dementia organisations, and food banks within a 10-mile radius. This ensures fresh, high-quality food reaches vulnerable individuals and families quickly and efficiently.
Every day, our volunteers sort and distribute rescued food to our partner organisations, supporting a wide network of community services. Whether it’s a local food bank, a school or a community project, or a specialised charity, our goal is simple: no good food should go to waste, and everyone deserves access to culturally relevant nutritious meals.
